The wreckage of a twin otter passenger plane missing with 22 people aboard has been found in Thasang municipality of Mustang district, Nepal Army spokesperson said.
Rescuers from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, mountain guides and lcoals have reached the crash site. Locals and yarsa collectors have also joined the rescue team. The crash site lies at an altitude of 14,500 geet.
Plane has been crashed into pieces. Rescuers said chances of rescuing passagner were almost nil.
Nepal Police spokesperson Bishnu Kumar KC said rescuers are collecting dead bodies.
A Tara Air Twin Otter was carrying 19 passengers and three crew members has gone out of contact. The plane was scheduled to land at Johnsom airport, Mustang at 10:20 am Sunday but it lost contact at 10:07, according to airlines.
Two Germans, four Indians and 16 Nepalis were onboard
